He said that apart from professional life, the year 2020 started with a breakup for him. During that time she was rumored to be dating Karthik Aryan.

Both Sara and Kartik have never externally spoken about being in a relationship. The two apparently started dating when they were shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal (2020) and reportedly broke up after the film was released and bombed at the box office.
