Nag Ashwin’s project K starring Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas has finally locked its release date.

The makers took to social media on Saturday to release a new poster and revealed that the massive project is all set to hit the theaters on January 12, 2024.
Earlier, the team also unveiled the first-look poster of Prabhas and Padukone on their birthday.
About ‘Project K‘
Earlier it was reported that the movie will be released in two parts. The first part will set up the sci-fi world and conflicts of the Magnum era. Celebrating 50 years of Vyjayanthi Movies, it is planned to make it the biggest film of Indian cinema.
The makers are shooting both parts simultaneously and it will be released on the same lines as Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan – Part 1 and Part 2. It is now in the post-production stage and the makers are working on the VFX parts. Her first look was released on Deepika’s birthday.

The expectations from the project stem from its stellar star cast.
This is the first time Prabhas has worked with Padukone and Bachchan.
Hence, if executed properly, the film is looking at tremendous pan-India reach and commercial success.
Ashwin is most familiar with his National Film Award-winning film Mahanati, so its residue is to be seen if he can replicate the favorable result with Project K.
The new poster hints at a post-apocalyptic landscape
The makers and lead actors of Project K on Saturday shared an interesting new poster on social media featuring a large palm tree apparently in a brawl with some soldiers dressed in black.
The shot seems to be from a post-war landscape or a post-apocalyptic world, with yellow and brown colors dominating the frame.
Large vehicles and machinery can also be seen in the surround.

The mega-budget venture, bankrolled by Tollywood’s leading production company Vyjayanthi Movies, reportedly cost Rs. 500 crore budgets.
Veteran director Sin Geetham Srinivasa Rao is advising the team behind the venture.
Dani Sanchez Lopez is beyond the camera, while Mickey J Meyer is composing the film’s music.
Some sequences were earlier shot at the famous Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

Apart from Prabha’s project, he is also working on Salaar, Adipurush, and Spirit.
His last appearance was in Radhe Shyam.
Apart from this, Padukone will be seen opposite Big B in the remake of The Intern and as Lady Singham in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again.
