Salman Khan announced Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (old title Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali) on a very special occasion of completing 34 years in the industry.
The project has been in the news since pre-pandemic times for its dream team director Farhad Samji and Nadiadwala & Grandsons producer Sajid Nadiadwala starring.

In early 2020, the makers announced Pooja Hegde as the leading lady for the ambitious project opposite Salman Khan. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala took to Twitter to announce the leading lady of the film.
Pooja Hegde is famous for her roles in Akshay Kumar’s starrer ‘Housefull 4’ and Hrithik Roshan’s starrer ‘Mohenjo Daro’. He has also done many films with superstars of South Indian films.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan stars the lead pair Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde besides famous Telugu star Daggubati Venkatesh in a pivotal role. Salman Khan’s old co-actress Bhagyashree and Bhumimila Chawla will play important roles in this film.
Along with a title announcement video, Salman Khan shared his avatar and revealed the entire lead cast, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassi Gill, Shehnaaz Gill, and Palak Tiwari are also in the film.

Kisi Ki Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was locked for 30 December 2022 but postponed to next year (2023). The talk of the film is going on since 2019, it was planned to release in 2020 but the coronavirus spoiled the plan and now a lot of things and equations have changed, and the film is ready for Eid 2023.
After 2019 Bharat, KBKJ is superstar Salman’s first Eid release. Principal photography of the film was slated to begin in May 2022 and wrap up by December 2022.
